I do all my work on an HP dv5t laptop running Ubuntu Linux. Emacs is my editor and I've been using that pretty-much daily since 1994. (Before that, during college, I used vi but the real world is way too big for vi.)
I like my HTML and CSS to be validated and do, of course, check my results under multiple browsers - Firefox, Opera, Safari, and, yes, even IE. I run IE as well as some of the others within a Sun VirtualBox session running XP. Heh.
